Terms of Service
Last updated: 30 July 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Frazer website and application (“Service”) operated by Frazer Music Limited (“we”, “us”, “our”). By joining our waitlist, creating an account, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
Frazer is an AI-powered guitar learning application. It teaches songs as interactive, step-by-step lessons, using tools such as a scrolling chord highway, chord diagrams, and practice modes with microphone-based feedback, and it listens while you play to tell you what it hears.
The Service is provided on an “as is” basis. AI analysis is probabilistic and may contain errors. You should verify chord transcriptions against your own musical knowledge.
3. Accounts
You must create an account to use most features. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. Notify us immediately at hello@frazermusic.com if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.
4. Beta Access and Pricing
The Service is currently in beta and free to use. We do not charge for access during the beta period. If we introduce paid plans in future, we will provide clear notice and updated Terms before any charge applies to you.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of the Service or its AI models.
- Use automated scripts, bots, or scrapers to access the Service at scale without our written permission.
- Attempt to interfere with the security or integrity of our infrastructure.
- Resell, redistribute, or sublicense access to the Service.
- Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation with any entity.
We may suspend or terminate your account if we reasonably believe you have breached these rules.
6. Intellectual Property
All software, design, text, graphics, audio, and other materials that form part of the Service, including the songs, recordings, arrangements, and learning materials we make available, are owned by or licensed to us and are protected by applicable intellectual property law. They are provided for your personal, non-commercial learning use only. You may not reproduce, distribute, resell, or create derivative works from any part of the Service without our express written consent.
7. User Content
Your practice recordings stored by the Service remain yours. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store and process that content solely to provide the Service to you. We will not share your practice recordings with third parties, except as necessary to operate the Service (e.g. cloud storage providers under confidentiality obligations).
8. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-generated chord transcriptions will be accurate. The Service is a learning aid, not a substitute for professional music tuition.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Frazer Music Limited and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of your use of or inability to use the Service.
Our total aggregate liability to you for all claims arising out of or relating to the Service shall not exceed the greater of (a) the total fees paid by you to us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) £100 GBP.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under English law.
10. Termination
You may close your account at any time from the account settings page. Upon closure we will delete your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, if we have reasonable grounds to believe you have materially breached these Terms.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated by updating the “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, by email. Continued use of the Service after the effective date of any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, except that you retain the right to bring proceedings in the courts of your country of residence if required by applicable consumer protection law.
13. Contact
